After a two-week absence from Internet activities I finally got back on. It was quite a stressful ordeal that I hope you won’t ever have to go through.
It all began after I changed a Windows program to another better one, transfered over my history, and subsequently had difficulty signing in to AOL. Shortly I received this message: “Suspicious activity has been detected on this account for your protection we are blocking access to this user name.” A few of my readers may have received similar alerts usually involving passwords or broadcasting alerts of caution when receiving correspondence and forwards from strangers, or other mailers like unsolicited Spam. After being blocked from use a few days and acquiring Gmail, I later learned from AOL that I had been hacked and it appeared I continue to be and advised of corrective procedures to take care of the interloper…
