I happened to view an interview a few days ago of the retiring Israeli Defense Force Commander, Benny Gantz. The General has spent nearly four decades in the service of his country.
A good-looking wholesome fellow who speaks polished English and certainly in his professional capacity attended several advanced military staff colleges in the U. S. and proudly walked Pentagon floors as a genuine Israeli hero. When Christian Amanpour questioned Gantz, she asked “You’ve been accused by a the U. N. and other agencies of war crimes, particularly in Gaze (2,228 Palestinians deaths, of which 40% were women and children vs. 67 Israeli deaths) and they’re currently investigating, what do you say?” Gantz replied “We do not need to be investigated by anyone, Israel can investigate it selves, we do not need the U. N. to investigate us.” Not surprising at all, it is typical of Israel government officials……
