Greetings Readers,It is nearly unbelievable to me that Netanyahu would have the audacity and openly arrogant bad manners to address the U. S. Congress without the permission or a supporting welcome by the President of the United States. And in particular during this crucial moment of the most important and ultimately the most delicate nuclear negotiations of this decade. It further amazes that a smallish dependent Zionist Middle East country has so much overwhelming influence with the lawmakers of the United States. It is rather an insult to our forefathers, Washington and Jefferson, whose dictum is to avoid foreign entanglements. At this point Israel’s importance to American interests is in steep decline. That importance in connection with U. S. objectives ended with the Cold War in 1990’s and since Israel has become our greatest liability in the Middle East. With money grabbing all-consuming friends like Israel, we don’t need enemies. At least not anymore than we have. Israeli prying into American foreign and political affaires has become second nature with the Media and many American citizens, is frequently accepted supposedly for our own benefit because of mutual objectives. But what are the benefits, and what are these objective? I can think of none of which Israel can assist with the except for their own Zionist goals. This has consistently been the unfortunate background in our long-standing one-sided partnership going back to the establishment of Israel in 1948. (Against Our Better Judgement, The hidden history of how the U. S. was used to create Israel, by Alison Weir) Even then they contributed minimal to the U. S. while accepting generous nurturing favors, financial gifts, domestic and international political support, and above it all vast military backing second to none among our allies. Israel is each year is consistently our largest foreign aid recipient… by far, by far. For this long-term aid what has the Israeli government provided the United States? Perhaps the Mossad and IDF have submitted a measure of military and political intelligence while in the way of miniscule reimbursements if one can ever find them? The realtionship continues to be a one way street from the U. S. to Israel’s coffers. The Mossad didn’t do well warning us on 9-11, did they? (The Israel Lobby, and U. S. Foreign Policy, by Mearsheimer and Walt) Virtually, virtually without exception Middle Eastern counties, both Sunnis and Shiite, dislike and more than not bitterly hate the United States for its unwavering support for the regime and for the unending colonization of Palestinian land.Reading my last, most recent post concerning Israel’s rise to fame, fortune, and influence at largely American taxpayer expense, I state it has been absolutely phenomenal. The Jewish nation has progressed, gained a great deal in almost every category of human and social endeavor since its founding and well before. Research figure reveal… Jews lead in U. S. national average income, a holder of the majority of Western wealth, while often contributions to the public good with Noble prize winners, proficient doctors, attorneys, talented entertainers, and exceptional investors and financial experts. These are only a few of the many Jewish accomplishment and I, we, should recognize and applaud them.Social scientist also reveal a vicious biblical tribe indicative to a close-knit society within a stately social religious grouping. One of the factors accumulated with other academics, the Jews quickly became literate in ancient times. This exceptionalism, individuality, and clanishness led to persecutions and further by despicable genocidal attacks that has left the marking of a nationalistic paranoid mentality interwoven with the belief of religious supremacy and social destiny. The myth of God’s chosen and all that malarkey. The stain of Netanyahu’s brilliant demagoguery is deeply connected with his fervent belief in Israel’s above all nations exceptionalism that does not, will not, make his people good, kind, peaceful, humanist, cooperative, or fundamentally very wise, but in the negative circumstance of Israel’s adheres to power-seeking and Machiavellian objectives. By this pronouncement I may appear as one, but I am not an anti-Semitic. I favor the Jews for what they have accomplished, but Zionist-Israel is the a limited exception for this undersigned. The supposedly peaceful but arrogant nuclear-armed warlike nation bears close watching as they have the means to cause the U. S. and its citizens a great deal of harm in the years ahead. All the Best.Ron.Post Script: These past weeks I have viewed Netanyahu expound his theme in two major speeches, in New York City with 15,000 in attendance and in Congress Washington DC, and one within a smaller group after his Congressional appearance. I’ve seen two interviews with the Prime Minister, prerecorded, and copious minor speeches, talks, commentary by the Fox Network, CNN, BBC, and Zionist “Talking Heads,” But, I have yet to hear even one particular word from them…. Palestine... not a comment, not a mention, not a whisper. Have we forgotten their plight? This is not only injustice for the Palestinians it will eventually become an injustice for the Jewish people too.A brief email from Move-on. org: On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Congress at the invitation of House Speaker John Boehner. It was a breach of American protocol and an insult to President Obama. But more importantly, it was an attack on America’s diplomatic efforts to limit Iran’s nuclear program.Netanyahu’s influence didn’t end with the speech. Immediately after the address, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell attempted to rush legislation that could derail the negotiations.1 And major newspapers across the nation had Netanyahu on their front pages this week, amplifying his assault on the diplomatic talks.2All told, Netanyahu’s presence has supercharged the war hawks’ efforts to thwart diplomacy—which is why we need to supercharge our own efforts to create the space for negotiations to work.
