    • The FOx Network’s No Spin Zone?

Posted at 4:55 am by ronaldstanleymiller, roguedinosur.wordpress.com, on July 3, 2016

      Greeting Readers,

FOx is one of the eight or nine channels I relate to each morning. I can’t connect to others without punching individual channel lumbers of course, so I usually zip by several to the one I want to view. I do in passing pause to watch FOx occasionally. Usually soberly, but at times for comic relief. I must admit they do aggravate me from time to time with their uncalled for bias converging on verbal deprivity. It’s all spin and Republican talking points. In fact I have never viewed a more bias network, particularly when it comes to castigating Democrats, Liberals, Independents or anyone else opposed to their aggressive Neo-Con ideology,  yet FOx masquerades as just another plain old ‘Conservative’ broadcaster, but it’s not.

Being one-sided is natural and obvious for them. They feel no compunction in producing  a steady stream of Republicans and Neo-Cons on their programs. Occasionally they slip in a fake liberal, or a no-nothing who happens to be either glamorous or a dignified has been right-wing politician. There is never a good word have I heard for the present Obama Administration. The Democrats are always at fault, never the Republicans or FOx.

I recently viewed a Bill O’Reilly interview with Donald Trump. They appeared like two warmongering old ladies. “Obama is not doing enough” each said in so many words. O’Reilly did propose a strategic plan as to what direction Obama should take  and that is to: “Not fool around with the coalition, but mobilize all NATO forces and go after ISIS.” What does the mean, NATO ground forces in Iraq? Yes, of course, and then we will begin all  over again as in 2003 under Bush. “Israel has got the right idea on how to handle security” says Trump, and shortly after goes after NAFTA, “We are getting screwed by the agreement. When I’m in office, I’m gonna fix that, renegotiate NAFTA  or rescind it”.

Right-wing bias does not have its home in the FOx Network however, it is scattered in bits and pieces throughout the Republican-Democrat tainted media. One of the more partial is CNN, but on occasion gives in to the Neo-Con ideological propaganda as earlier it did this month when I watched an interview with Matt Stramp, a political advisor to George W. Bush, and Bill Crystal of Neo-Con publishing fame and one of the original signers of the Project for a New American Century (PNAC) 18 years ago that became the stratagem for the takeover of the Middle East. The plan to begin with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, to be followed by Syria, and Iran military interventions. The key was to be Iraq, establish a central base for aggression, get the oil, stage, recruit, consolidate, and then attack the other two neighboring countries one by one. It is said to have been an estimated five-year plan.  But getting back the CNN program, as the host interviewer listened in apparent dismay the two discussed Obama and the Pentagon as having a faulty program not working because the Administration was too void of any ideas and not doing enough to finish the job. The pair inferred the  conflict could be resolved in short order if left up to them.

I find it refreshing when a network or publication is totally fair in its summary of events and not appearing  bias. I found this several weeks ago in Time Magazine where side by side two directly opposing views were equally reported. I provide them as  examples.

The first submitted by a Japanese resident of Tokyo that went:

Regard to Inside the international contest over the Most important waterway in the world, June 6: ‘This report exposes the reality that the South China Sea is on the brink of being snatch by China. China has no scruples about violating international established rules and makes no bones about showing off it military muscle. Since China has become a menace to security in the Pacific it is imperative for Japan and the U. S. to rally the regional countries under the treat to forge an alliance to hold down China’s imperialism.’

The second, same subject, by a chap from England:

Your piece in too U. S. centric and unfair. What is the U. S. doing in the South China Sea? It has no territorial rights there. China has every right to protect its waterway to feed its population and protect its trade primacy in the South China Sea. The U.S. is being deliberately provocative by further militarizing Vietnam. It should let the nations surrounding the South China Sea resolve any  issues among themselves.

      So, Readers, take your choice.

All the Best, and have nice 4th of July weekend.
