One of my problems with this blog is I often send off posts without completely thinking or rethinking the subject matter. In mine of yesterday not only should I have mentioned the 4.7 unemployment rate, but the lowest fuel prices in decades, the record stock market prices of last month, and people getting adequately cared for through Medicare and Medicaid, etc. These contrast sharply with what was left on Bush’s plate for Obama in 2008. Not only these, but American war casualty figures currently are very few and far between while the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan that were left for him go on and on, having no practical solution. The American public should generally be pleased, but they are not because the demagogue Trump has used his authoritative bussinessman’s sales talents to convince people they’re living in an incompetent ‘Hell’ in particular the White working class in the mid-west. Really, let’s face it, America has not looked this good in years.
The only considerable problem left behind for the nation is the national debt which may be nearing 20 trillion dollars, but it cannot be reduced under the over expansive plans and promises of and in the Trump administrative agenda and will significantly increase under him and his followers. Only with the possibility of magical write-offs, inflation, cover ups, conflicts, and a war emergency is it workable.
If Americans can be swayed by a Trump, the next chapter remaining is a right leaning dictatorship backed by elitist special interests and the military-industrial-Congressional complex. More like Trump is not better and can easily lead to miscalculation and international disaster.
I may eat crow, but that’s how I see it.
PS: No comments please, I cannot stand criticism when I’m right, or is that left.
