Greetings Readers,
After the U. N. Security Council resolution vote of 14 to zero with the United States abstaining for the first time thereby relinquishing its historic diplomatic support for Israel, Benjimin Natanyahu lashed out at Obama stating he performed ‘an ambush’ on the Zionist nation.
The council unanimously proclaimed Israel must stop building settlements on the West Bank and questioned the legality of those which have been built over the past several decades. Within moments of the U. N. decision a whole slue of Israelis booked to appear on the Media to claim a severe injustice had been done to their proud nation.
The Israeli UN Ambassador appeared on CNN, the U. S. Ambassador on FOx, and mostly positive summaries appeared in support of the U. N. council ruling during several network roundtable discussions. Moreover, like canned magic a very personal interview and biography, of and for, FOx’s most capable chief Israel Jew Charles Krauthammer appeared several times that day and continued through Christmas. While all this public relations was in progress Netanyahu reviewed and mulled over Israel’s ties with the international body and thoughts of leaving the club because he says they are misguided and anti-Semitic.
Yesterday and this I have not seen a Palestinian speaker ready and willing to stand up to the barrage of bias. For them it’s either keep a low profile at this time, or it may be difficult to acquire adequate time on stations and networks when the Jews own half the Media and Hollywood too. Not to mention also the generous pro-Israel U. S. Congress worshipping at Israel’s feet.
Bebe says Obama trapped Israel and ‘it’s a shame.’ To Israel Obama is ‘old junk’ and so are a lot of his liberal followers. That’s only one, one of Israel’s many criticisms of the president and by the way, from most of the U. S. Congress, both GOP and Dems. It was that damn hated nuclear treaty that Kerry painstakingly negotiated with Iran. It appears to be working satisfactorily, but according to Netanahyu and Trump it’s not. It’s a desaster. Moreover Obama designated a ‘Red Line’ across Syria after Assad’s gas attacks in 2013 and when the sporadic encounters continue did not follow through with airstrikes and missile launches. The critics are correct in this regard, Obama did not act immediately or act forcefully enough to suit them, but he handled the issue in a measured pace with poise and grace through the U.N. Assad subsequently turned over his entire government’s stockpile of poison gas. No lives were lost, the attacks ceased, ceased while locating and then destroying the deadly chemicals at sea taking over seven months. I for one cannot understand how critics can fault the POTUS for not ‘jumping the gun.’ The problem was addressed and resolved peacefully. Since then only rarely has ISIS used it own version of less lethal gases often falling short of their objectives.
The nation of Israel, the citizens, and it’s decreasing international supporters may at times wonder as to how and why there are so many people in this world today that dislike Jews and are plainly anti-Semitic. Hmm? I would answer with one sentence: Take a good look at the behavior of an aggressive, arrogant, recalcitrant, Zionist controlled Israel.” There’s your answer plain and simple.
All the Best.
Ron Miller.
