Greetings Readers,
This post in a little late: Trump is currently in Britain actively carrying out his disruptive act and is set to depart shortly for a meeting with Putin, but…
Trump is making trouble again, this time stirring up our closest allies, but some of it we must admit is justifiable. The U. S. has been lax for decades on several very important international issues dealing mostly with trade and the untended economy.
Trump is attempting to get NATO in top shape, for what I do not quite know for sure. (Is it an egotistical trip, a game his is playing?) I would assume NATO would eventually be shaping up by themselves as needed.
Of course NATO members should without question live up to their military commitments of two percent of GDP, but Trump does not require merely that, he wants these independent nations to provide a four percent of GDP for their defense.
Bravely Merkel and other leaders say to Trump “If you don’t like the NATO alliance get out of it”. But others indicate correctly that without the U. S. members have little power of protection from Russia’s interests should the time of need arise? Actually at this time Russia is a paper tiger, an irritant, but not a grave danger. Does the reader realize Italy has a larger GDP economy than Russia, and NATO has three standby members that have nuclear capability and as well Israel can always be called upon by the U. S. at anytime it wants to bomb any place at any time, any where the Americans desire. (The U. S. and Israel are as close as lips to teeth)
Notes:
- Perceptive NATO members state the reason the U. S. has such a large presence and military budget is because it has many enemies all over the globe. So true. The nation seems to be preoccupied with interventions and wars. Of course it is undoubtedly correct. Just look at the record. The U. S. has a military presence in over 150 countries, i. e. Afghanistan, Syria support, the worldwide war on drugs, in Asia and Africa, meddling in other counties affairs which is largely due to our aggressive capitalist nature a mindset of continued expansion.
- The Trumps romance with Putin’s Russia is puzzling. More than a year go I speculated a ‘gang-up’ on China. Mostly not, not right now or ever. China is getting too big.
- Trump says Germany is under the control of Russia? There are times I think Trump is plainly insane. (Where does he get this stuff?)
- The natural gas pipeline issue is one I saw many month ago. The U. S. desires to replace Russia and other counties in Europe as competitors because it has its own abundant supply of gas to sell. As the reader may understand U. S. natural gas is frozen and compressed into special bubble-like tankers and sold abroad. Certainly the industry led by the Koch brothers firm diehard supporters of Trump and the GOP are eyeing to break into the European market. They have often said so. Moreover Israel’s Tamar off-shore resources will be coming on-line in a year or two. The U. S. will always offer a helping hand to the Zionists.
Overall, it is an age-old strategy to keep the pot boiling, keep the people occupied and misdirected with the guff by Trump and his kind while Wall Street investors play a much less regulated market than before with tax breaks, loopholes, as they sweep up the profits leaving much of society behind.
All the Best.
