      Greetings Readers,

Why is it Roseanne Barr so often acts nutty? At an early age her practicing Jewish family relocated to Salt Lake City and they had to pretend to be Mormons. That would drive anyone nutty.

During a busy early period in the Trump campaign it was possible a brief mention of a proposed Russian meeting by Trump’s son could have been overlooked by the candidate. These things happen. We the public don’t know at present, perhaps something revealing my surface on this touchy but important collusion issue later.

More importantly is what does Putin have on Donald Trump? It’s a mystery and there is much room for speculation. My suspicion is money laundering loans and an old hotel sex tape or, or, or money loan-laundering loans and sex tapes. But there is something there that would have discredited and ruined Trump’s presidential bid am sure.

A military parade is being planned by the Administration and the Pentagon for August to commemorate the U. S. entry into world War I, which was then at a very late stage of the fighting, but a significant determining factor in the war conclusion by infusing  fresh troops into the exhausted conflict, causing the Germans to withdraw and surrender. There is Congressional opposition to the parade, it will cost an estimated 28 million dollars, and will tear up Washington Streets.

I recently read an internet article of the battle for the Somme which lasted over four months of bitter trench warfare that caused 420,000 British casualties and 200,000 thousand French among other nationalities.  During the Somme engagement 7,000 horses were killed in battle  or slaughtered for meat. Horse selling was a profitable business then.  Most purchases were from the U. S. and South Africa. Trench warfare was bitter indeed, besides enemy artillery and over-the-top suicide attacks, mutinies occurred on both sides, rats, disease, and trench foot were serious annoying everyday problems.

In Korea decades ago I had a Jewish friend who at the end of WWII was a U. S. MP lieutenant in Paris. His assignment was to round-up Russians that had escaped the Nazis and Russian armies to defect to the West.  The small team found and rounded up a few dozen and then Joe my pal, the Russian interpreter, and an armed guard would directly jeep each one of the captured to the Russian Embassy for a quick turnover to an official. One day Joe asked the Russian interpreter what happens to the soldiers we turnover? The interpreter said, ‘We’ll never see or hear from them again’ probably a bullet to the back of the head in the basement, and who would know? (It was during the confusion in war-torn 1945) Those were Stalin’s dead men walking, no use to cart them al the way back to the Soviet Union. Under the communist regime as in the present defection were not tolerated. That said and you may research it , compared with Stalin Putin is Mother Teresa.

After the June Singapore Summit who paid for the NorKor hotel bill? After discreet U. S. obbying Singapore did.  An who had to send a transport plane to collect the American soldiers’ Korean War remains? Of course the U. S.  (Trump called it a great moment)  Actually it is the beginning of a long forensic process that may take years as new remains arrive.

      All the Best to you.

      Ron Miller
