Greetings Readers,
Yesterday, I turned over an old scratch pad and discovered on the backside a couple of notations I had jotted own a year or more ago.
A friend in Georgia had written “Terror is the war of the poor, and war is the terror of the rich.”
And I had noted from a CNN interview with a former U. S. Secretary of State who stated “The U. S. believes China is preparing greater political and military expansion in the South China Sea and economic expansion in Africa.” Chinese military aggression is of course the most paramount of the issues. I have been waiting for China’s aggress.
YES, China is an evil aggressor. Didn’t they invade Tibet one of their ancient sparsely populated provinces in October 1950 and displace the child Dalai Lama? China is a wicked grasping nation.
We all know it. They’re ruthless, and very warlike. Not at all like the peace-loving U. S.
Speaking of peace, just this morning channel.newsAsia.com reported ‘North Korea media calls on the U. S. to drop sanctions. ‘This must be the reason Trump and Kim have recently discussed a second summit… in the future.
Iran’s President Rouhani says the U. S., Israel, and Saudi Arabia are in a holy alliance to undermine the and change the Persian regime. Seems Washington is taking the lead to do that, as Israel throws gasoline on the fire. Iran is a menace in the Middle East no doubt. Who said they own the Persian Gulf anyway? Further noted on the verge of severe sanctions the Rial is now worth four cents against the U. S. Dollar.
The Canadian – Saudi feud is silly, almost childish, it’s all over the Canadian media criticism over two Saudi anti kingdom women jailed having done too much Facebook blogging of their views. And on to Turkey where the U. S. sanctions the country over the jailing of one, one Christian preacher. The preacher, preacher Andrew, who since october missed Christmas joy, and appealed to President Trump to free him. He just happen to be from a voter block near and dear to Donald’s supporters? The Turks claim they have proof he has participated in terrorist activity. Why cannot Canada criticise for change in Saudi domestic affairs and the U. S. can in Turkey? Is it Saudi Arabia is our new ally and Turkey is not.
Trump and the world are getting more ridiculous all the time.
Here in Indonesia things are a Pop-in and going quite well. The GDP grew to five percent last year and will do better this year as the country continues to export its large resources of palm oil, minerals, oil and gas, and housemaids to giants like China, India, and Japan.
Hope you had a nice weekend.
All the Best.
Ron.
