Greetings Readers,
From the very beginning Democrats and liberals have badly underestimated Donald Trump. There is no political opponent of sufficient stature at this time to oppose his bluster, brilliance, and gravitas.
During the campaign and after it people scoffed that he would become a threat to democracy despite the bad publicity, the lies, scandals, tax evasions, the alleged frauds committed, and the dirty international business connections of which some have said he, Trump, is actually good for the country.
A change in democratic administrations is often a good thing and reassuring, a little more to the left or to the right, adjustments, compromises, and the rigged system unfortunately, quietly, goes on itis merry way as before. In the case of Trump 45, it has gone far, too far in the direction of the Altr-right conservatives and has rapidly become a detriment to the balanced system we know as delivered to the American people in the Constitution. The healthy balancing act has completely swung over for the benefit of the elitist and other powerful controlling elements of government overseeing our lives and fate.
The president is a smart and able campaigner whose showmanship, personality and ceaseless campaigning prove, as he gathers enthusiastic crowds of supporters each week. His maneuvering is affective in this regard as well as managing his persona and ego.
The pillars of Trump support of which I often refer for the blonde demagogue are as strong and committed as ever before: Internationally, Israel love him and apparently he them. The Saudi Kingdom will do Trump’s bidding in Yemen against the Iranian backed Shia Houthis as one of their prime allies.
Domestically, Trump has pocketed and intimidated the GOP, and Wall Street after more than a twelve point tax write off overhaul that has consummated a long-term marriage with the president. The Israel lobby with its billionaire contributors is esthetic, never have they had such control over the office, while the sometime wavering military, due mostly to Trump’s ridicule of the hero McCain, continues to be entirely with him as do the perennial defense lobbyist and contractors hangers on. Readers we must understand one party or group of parties cannot overcome these five powerful political and economic Trump forces. It’s Trump Incorporated.
Most U. S. citizenry do not appear to care in what direction the country is heading toward which is catastrophic and eventually to military clashes and war to ostensibly save our capitalistic democracy headed by the racist leader. Apparently people are gratified by the economic progress made under Trump’s administration. I for one am not taken in or intimidated by it and do not live by economic bread alone. There is something bigger more important at stake…. Individual freedom and, democracy not the tyranny of one man. As many other Americans I feel there is a disappearing democracy that lay before us.
While the sheep are led down the rosy path of temporary prosperity dependent larely on International economic cooperaton on international issues of conflicting trade barriers, sanctions declarations etc., it is asked where are the opposing working and middle classes to meet the rising tide of Mr. Trump’s divisive nationalism? Where are the combined and unified street demonstrations, the regrouping of a third-party, the George McGoverns, the Martin Luther Kings, and yes as radical as it sounds, the likes of an armed but peaceful weathermen, and Black Panthers of decades ago who attempted to make a difference during the fiasco of the Vietnam War.
The seeds of destruction are being sewed by Trump and the GOP at a very dangerous period in world history..
Where are the brave of heart and not the Summer soldiers?
All the Besst to you.
